Delete your data
You can remove a single trip yourself, or ask us to delete your entire account and everything attached to it. Both are free, and you do not have to give a reason.
Delete a single trip
Open the trip and use the delete control on its page. This works whether or not you have an account, and takes effect immediately. Once deleted, the trip's share link stops working for everyone who has it.
Delete your account and all your data
Send an email to support@tripvio.ai with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address on the account. Sending it from that address is how we confirm the request is yours — we will not act on a deletion request for an account we cannot verify you control.
If you signed up through Facebook or Google, use the email address that provider gave us, and say which one you used. We will confirm by email once the deletion is done, within 30 days of your request and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
- Your account record — email address, display name, and password hash.
- Any Google or Facebook sign-in link attached to the account, including the provider account identifier we stored to recognise you.
- Every trip saved to the account, including its itinerary, destinations, preferences, and budget.
- Any sign-in tokens issued to you, which are revoked immediately so every signed-in device is logged out.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account or its trips afterwards, so export or copy anything you want to keep before you send the request.
What we keep
- Email correspondence with our support address, kept as a record of the request itself.
- Ordinary server access logs, which expire on their own short schedule and are not linked back to your account once it is gone.
- Anything we are required by law to keep, for as long as that requirement lasts.
Removing Tripvio from Facebook or Google
Revoking Tripvio's access in Facebook's Settings → Apps and Websites, or in your Google account's security settings, stops you signing in with that provider in future. It does not, on its own, delete the data we already hold — send us the request above as well if that is what you want.
We never stored those providers' access tokens in the first place, so there is nothing on our side that keeps reading your Facebook or Google account after you revoke access.
